Assistant Coaching Positions Available
- Anywhere from three to twelve hours a week coaching as an assistant on deck at either the North Charleston Aquatics Center (8610 Patriot Blvd) or the North Charleston Sports Complex (1455 Monitor Street).
- Age groupers practice ~4-5:30 p.m. at both sites. Senior level athletes practice ~5-7 p.m.
- Coaches will show up 10 minutes early to go over a workout with the lead coach. During practice they will explain drills and sets to the group and provide feedback.
- Coaches will learn the kids’ names, have a positive attitude, and give the athletes encouragement along with proper technical feedback.
- Ideal candidate has a background in year-round USA Swimming.
- Ideal candidate may or may not have experience coaching at the club team or summer league level.
